For the most part it doesn't, I've seen many a person sell all picks for 50 mil several time over the last 2 years. Most teams that are competing are near maxed or negative on income to salary. Others have different issues. In my case while I have some cash, I also have a 35? million debt hanging over me (stadium upgrade) and have a few new players that will have ballooning payrolls in the nearish future.

You're the one that tried to sell a high 3rd rounder for 25 million...
