This may be the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever seen "future considerations" or "player(s) to be named later" added to any OOTP trade. Honestly can't wrap my mind around why anyone would include a player that isn't being moved at that exact time. The other "player to be named later" can just be moved in the future in a separate deal through trade or waivers 1 way or another. It's like the player is either moving now or he isn't. There is no in-between.

There is not any additional player included in the deal, or a draft pick. The "future considerations" is more for documentation and a reminder for us to finish this later. Basically, he owes me one!  |

Ultimately, however, it does not matter. As long as each and every single deal stands on its own. I don't want to get into the business of judging trades for fairness, testing for collusion, etc. As long as a trade is legitimate, what happens behind the scenes is irrelevant and none of our business. =)
