In real life waivers passes through each team by record. These people can just PM the owner expressing interest that they deal in the offseason. |

We're already at the end of August. If Brian is going to win the claim and possibly work out a trade, it's going be irrelevant in a short amount of time. Plus, it sounds like the way the rule is written now, I could force Seaver to stay on the Mets for another sim by making a claim at the last minute, whether it would be "symbolic" or not. |
