File and pages are up. The next sim will be when the remaining teams post that they are ready, but no later than tomorrow night at 8 PM.
Please post/PM/text me your game 5 starters. I say this because when you do not export and I pull in exports, it usually resets the "next starter" to the starter number from the last export you did (which may be old), which might not be the one next in line had I not pulled in exports.
Mark, you can start to do file flip financials.
Breaking News
Saturday 10/8/1980: Tom Hausman fires 2-hitter against San Diego
ATLANTA - Great days are rare. But not for Atlanta's right-hander Tom Hausman. San Diego found out the hard way that he is among the leagues top pitchers, getting just 2 hits. It's his 2nd shutout this season, and the 6th time he has done it in his career. 'Hey, that's my job! Everytime I take the mound I give the best I can. And my best stuff was too much for them today.' Hausman (19-10) fanned 5 and walked 2, throwing 92 pitches. Atlanta's first baseman Reggie Jackson stroked 2 hits in 3 AB, hitting a homerun. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Hausman. The final score of the game was 3-0.
Tuesday 10/4/1980: Vern Ruhle pitches 2-hit shutout against San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO - St. Louis' right-hander Vern Ruhle is a great pitcher. And he once again showed his stuff, blanking San Francisco on just 2 hits. It's his 1st shutout this season, and the 5th time he has done it in his career. 'Well, the ball went where I wanted it. I was able to hit the corners with all of my pitches.' Ruhle (13-6) struck out 8 and walked none, throwing 77 of 115 pitches for strikes. Bill Almon helped Ruhle at the plate, he finished with 3 hits in 5 AB, scoring two runs. St. Louis scored 7 runs on 11 hits.
