No... Mitch Williams should SUCK in the clutch. A's and Phillies were always my favorite teams. Absolutely heartbroken over that one... worst sports feeling besides Dolphins losing to SD Chargers in that one for the ages. Plus the Snake (Oakland) beating them in the AFC Championship and the Redskins later pummeling them in the Super Bowl. Goodness sake.

John Elway has an E for arm strength lol....Which brings up the condundrum....how do we rate these guys who were good enough to play major league ball but chose football instead?

Better yet, I'm curious of the catcher and outfield arm criteria myself. I have my own scales for both, but curious to see how Chris and others here go about it.

for those that never played, it should suck as there are no stats to backup any rating, outfield is harder to rate, but catchers are easier based on runners thrown out %. For outfielders I guess it would be based on Assists / AB to get some kind of %

I disagree... just because you did well in one sport doesn't mean you will do well in another (micheal jordan cough cough) for every Bo or Dion, there were hundreds that played one sport well at an elevated level, but not so much the other

Cant argue for realism on draft classes then make tons of extra studs. One of the many reasons why bbsbl is sooo inflated

Not sure how inflating half a dozen guys a decade or so because of name value hurts the league. Why waste fun names when we can have fun what ifs. I made Elway G/A/A in BBSBL

I made MJ G/G/G because every person you hear who watched him play that year in the minors will tell you he would have been a solid MLB player if it was his focus instead of basketball

I don't know... He played for Wilmington Laney against my cousin in baseball (same conference ), a few years before I was playing. He wasn't a player you had to look out for hitting, had a decent arm, an excellent fielder and could run very well. Now, basketball... YIKES!
My daughter played basketball in Laney's gym when she went thru HS... which was cool.

I'm running out of players to use rewards on at this point since I've tried to keep my team together for a sustained, yet unsuccessful, run at the title.

Tons of extra studs is such an overstatement it hurts to read.

Chris I'm not sure how extensively you went through number ratings for each player this class but some of them are either way off or the RHP LHP splits are too far off from each other. That's all I have for now.
