Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here with another wrap up for the last week in Braves baseball.
Skip: Wow, the Braves are tied with Detroit with the most wins in Baseball with 44... I mean this is unheard of / uncharted territory. We've had some good Braves teams the last few years, but are they really this good?
Pete: The Franchise continues to set the pace for all pitchers in wins, while other than proficiency on the base paths, the hitters for the Braves really aren't lighting up any category, other than being consistently pretty good across the board.
Skip: John Fulgham continues to show that he might one day be a consistently great pitcher, currently 3-3 with a 2.56 ERA, over his last 5 games he is 3-1 with a 2.43 ERA
Pete: Reggie after being called out by the media for his horrendous start to the season seems to have rebounded some and is now nailing balls yard at the rate of every 18is at bats. Still down from last year, it is still WAY better than the 1 every 30 at bats he started the season with.
Skip: When asked about his turn around, Reggie admitted he had gone to the doctor cause he wasn't seeing the ball well, and it turned out he had a minor infection of his tear duct. After some antibiotics, he says now he can peer into the opposing pitchers eyes and read them like they were sultry Betty Davis eyes... Honestly folks, I have no idea why he would say that, but maybe it has something to do with his friend Kim Carnes... and the current number 1 hit
