Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here for the start of the new season, 1982 addition.
Skip: As some of you may remember the last time we saw the Braves, they won their last game of the season, against Detroit to claim their very first World Series
Pete: I do remember that
Skip: Are you sure you don't remember the highlights on ESPN, cause you drank most of the champagne in the locker room?
Pete: Pretty sure I didn't have more that BrianH
Skip: Oh... like that's an achievement...
Pete: Anyways I think we are loosing sight of what we are here to discuss
Skip: Braves 1982
Pete: Much like the Braves of 1981, almost everyone returns and very low FA acquisitions the pressure on this team to do well again will be immense.
Skip: Every pundit in the land is calling for them to win the East, it will be the post season that makes or breaks this team, to decide if indeed 1981 was the start of a dynasty
Pete: I do have to admit, I love watching them practice as they typically have a boombox cranked up playing Rock and Roll, and you know how much I love Rock n Roll
Skip: funny you should mention that as the current number one song in the nation is...
Me: and it was also the first rock concert I attended at the Minot State fair the night after seeing the Beach Boys...
