Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here with another wrap up for the last week in Braves baseball.
Skip: Overall the braves went 4-2 for the week splitting the last two games of the home stand against Houston before the Padres came to town for 3 which the Braves took 2 of.
Pete: The Saturday game had a ton of fire works with a couple of the bash quadruplets leading the way
Skip: Yes it did, with Jackson going yard 2 times
Pete: As did Murph, who not only went yard 2 times, also had 4 hits and 4 rbis for the day
Skip: Murph is starting to show why he was the #1 guy BrianH brought to town
Pete: You ain't kidding, I mean Monday against the Giants is the stuff of legends
Skip: Yeah it was, Richards had been just owning the Braves though they had managed to to tack 2 runs on him though 6, including Reggie taking him yard in the 6th, what was to come...
Pete: It was amazingthe Braves had managed to get 2 on, and only 1 out, and Richards was due up and he just was not having a good game from the plate, and even though Murph had the night off...
Skip: There you see him heading up to the plate with just a couple tentative warm up swings while walking towards home plate
Pete: Richards jumped out in front with a quick strike and then... his curveball hung just a tad, and Murph got all of it breaking open the 2-2 game.
Skip: Aparently right before sending Murph up coach was seen muttering "It's now or Never"
Hard to believe that was one of the biggest hits of 81...
