Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here with another wrap up for the last two weeks in Braves baseball.
Skip: So the Braves woes without Murph continue as they went 4-3 over the last 7 games against the likes of the bottom dwelling Padres, Mets, and Expos
Pete: The Batters either show up or they don't as the combined score was 23 - 12 which most of the time would be way better than 4-3
Skip: The bright spot of the week is again thee amazing SP Fulgham, who had a complete game shutout against the Padres for a win, and in the Montreal shutout, he pitched 6 shutout innings for the win also.
Pete: The hard luck pitcher is Matlack, giving up 1 run for the 0-1 loss to Montreal, to drop to 4-5 on the season while only having a 2.65 era.
Skip: Two nights later the offence came alive for Seaver in NY, so he could easily get a win against his old team, as the Braves routed the Mets 7-1
Pete: One of the funniest things I've ever scene was what the stadium crew did in NY...
Skip: You mean the song they played every time Seaver got up to bat?
Pete: Yeah
Skip: That was pretty funny using one of the top 40 songs like that...
