Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here with another wrap up in Braves baseball.
Skip: The braves went 8-4 over the last stretch of games, and while that is great they went 2-3 over the last 5 games.
Pete: The gem of the games was the pitching dual down in Houston, where Fulgham picked up his 11th win out dueling Knepper allowing the Braves to come out on top 2-1
Skip: They had two extra inning games and managed to pick up both of them as wins.
Pete: At the mid point the man who is baseballs Ponce De Leon, is again on top with most dingers in the NL with 21
Skip: He is just incredible, and while another 40/40 season seems to be a stretch, he at the tender age of 35 will almost certainly end up with an additional 30/30 year
Pete: We ofc are talking about Reggie.
Skip: The guy Reggie is sharing his fountain of youth with, finally had his first setback of the season, loosing out to SF Richard in a duel in SF loosing for the first time (2-1) ending the first half 9-1
Skip: I have to say, management has done a great job of bringing in guys that were expendable elsewhere, making them feel wanted.
Pete: I wonder...
Skip: If the big cheeze, has a formula for who he brings in?
Pete: Yeah, I doubt players are sending him messages via the new number 1 hit in the land today, 7/4/1982
