Win the division by 27 games and lose points?
Does this need to be revisited for situations like that?

Well you did not win as much as your fans expected.
I think I was going to tweak the formula this year anyway, to gradually subtract more points if less than 50 wins, and normalize closer to 0 for being close to the fan expectations.

Because I can control how much the game decimates my offensive players? I have no issue with the concept. But being a guy who has tried to have a winning team a majority of the history of the league, I'm not sure I've ever gotten more than 5 points, with most years me losing something or breaking even. I'd even venture the guess that the years I won the World Series I either barely broke even or lost again. How can fans not be happy with that?
(PS, I'm mainly complaining because I'm hurting for points anyway, then I make the playoffs only to lose more points to this).
(PSS Yes, I know I've got almost 100 points, but the way OOTP has treated me lately with PD hits, I need as many as I can get)

Win the division by 27 games and lose points? Does this need to be revisited for situations like that? I've had 100+ wins the last two seasons and won the WS and made it back, and lost points both years... I feel ya |
