Pete: Hey Braves fans, it's Skip and Pete here with another wrap up in Braves baseball.
Skip: So this streatch of Braves baseball started out with a shilacking at the hands of the Giants
Pete: yeah it was a real Stinker, Robinson has been doing well all year but got lit up for 5 in just 3 innings.
Skip: Thomas then Mahler came in to stop the bloodletting, alas there was just no one steeping up to the plate all game long offensively
Pete: yeah the offence was pretty offensive.
Skip: you do have to give McCatty credit though, only allowing a single run while having 9 base runners through the game.
Pete: Game 2 was the first game of a 3 game series against the Dodgers
Skip: Fulgham again had a great game, getting in a GC and only giving up a run for his 3rd win of the season
Pete: His ERA is starting to be respectful after having it up in the high sixes after the first 2 weeks
Skip: game 3 was a mirror of game two, only instead of winning 2-1 the Braves lost 2-1
Pete: Seaver picked up his 3rd win with a 3-1 win to close out the series versus the Dodgers
Skip: The Braves continue their rise from down under the Expo's and are just two back
Pete: Yeah that's some work these men have done
Skip: I see what you did there
