Hey Braves fans, it's Pete here with another wrap up in Braves baseball.
So the warm weather of SD continues to propell the Braves as the finished a 4 game sweep of the Padres to start the week, including the dominant 3-0 performance of Matlack only giving up 3 hits.
Onto Houston they went with more warm weather and another swwep of the 'stros over 3 games including a 2-0 shutout that featured 4 brave pitchers.
To finalize the week they headed to StL where it was cold, and the chill in the air cooled off the Braves for a loss. That said the 6-1 week allowed the Braves to edge above 500 for the season.

I completely missed one of my favorite songs during the 1980 season articles I did. Hands down, until the two cathedrals episode of West Wing, this was my fav Dire Straits song
