File and pages are up. Divisional Series will be run whenever all 8 teams indicate they are ready, but no later than WEDNESDAY evening at 8 PM Eastern. Please post/PM/text me your game 1 starter and confirm ticket prices. I will stop sim PRIOR to the start of Game 5.
File Flip will probably be this weekend. Get your last minute extensions, releases and PD reversals in!
Last reminder: The start of the playoff sim is also the WAIVER Trade Deadline and these trades can only include waived players, minor leaguers (without a Big League contract), cash and/or points. After the start of the playoffs, NO MORE TRADING until AFTER FILE FLIP.
Breaking News
Saturday 10/1/1983: Ed Halicki turns in great performance against Boston TEXAS - Texas' right-hander Ed Halicki is clearly one of the best pitchers in the game. Boston found out the hard way, getting just one hit. Halicki 1st shutout this season was a masterpiece, as he was almost untouchable. He has now hurled 3rd shutouts in his career. Halicki (10-18) fanned 1 and walked 3, throwing 102 pitches. 'Wow, what a nice day. I guess I had a good breakfast today.' Steve Macko provided Texas with the offense Halicki needed as he collected 2 hits in 5 trips to the plate, hitting a homerun, scoring twice and driving in 3 runs. Texas improved its record to 58-104, scoring 11 runs on 13 hits.

I just noticed that Philadelphia finished positive in Pythagorean wins. The entire season must be re-simmed, Chris, because this is clearly a major error.

if anyone wants to take over the HOFFBL Hall of Fame duties for some extra points, feel free. It's basketball season, it's my turn for evaluation year and I'm starting back on my masters degree, so I've barely got time to breathe. It's not hard and it's not much work, I just don't have the time to get caught up at this point. I can help you get started if ya want. CSCommish just so you know I posted this.
