10 + 5 draft spots + (2* 31.2) does indeed = 77 Does he even have a Jump fee based on mcgwires spot and his draft spot? possibly. Not sure if the pitchers are rated higher or not. but he had the 7th pick and at worst big mac is 5th imho. possibly better after I post something else. |

I think it's unfair that he got dinged at all since he probably didn't know about the rule Up to everyone to know the rules. Would be unfair waiving the Henderson trade fee. Or else i would have dealt Fisk by now already. I'm sure some others with aging franchise guys might as well. turns out Chris is the one that didn't know the rules. Rickey was in his 6th season of the majors in Oak, and there is no penalty defined for that. Just talked to Chris and Oak has enough points to do the reservation  |

Just talked to Chris and Oak has enough points to do the reservation That's what I was getting at that at worst it was a 15 point penalty not a 25 and either way he would have enough points. Happy to see him not going to Pitts haha |

I imagine we all benefit and get hurt eventually by fpr. It balances out.
If you get hurt more often then not then it's probably because your tanking too much.

My problem with Rickey was he was not going to re-sign with Oakland so I needed to get something for him. Makes no sense to let him go for nothing after he cost so much to get in the first place. Pissed me off that he wouldn't stay... but that is how this game goes sometimes. Not to mention getting my guy D.Daulton in that deal... looking forward to him coming up soonish. Got Kruk too... rebuilding my favorite team (Phillies 80's and beyond) and players on my original favorite team in the 70's (Bando, Rudi, Catfish, Blue, Odom, etc and etc). If you trade a guy that costed so much it should be up to you to do that with no penalty... in my opinion.
