Hey Braves fans,
With a bit of draft day magic we landed Greg Maddox. Maddux was born in San Angelo, Texas and spent much of his childhood in Madrid, Spain, where the United States Air Force stationed his father. His father exposed him to baseball at an early age. Upon his return to Las Vegas, Nevada, Maddux and his brother Mike trained under the supervision of Ralph Meder, a former scout from the majors. Meder has preached the value of movement and location above velocity, and advised throwing softer when in a jam instead of harder.
Later in the 1st wr got Terry Mulholland. Mulholland is a 1981 graduate of Laurel Highlands (Pennsylvania) High School. He then attended Marietta College in (Ohio) where he majored in sports medicine and played for legendary NCAA Division III coach Don Schaly.
Without a Second, Braves went into the 3rd and got 3, with 2 picks and a trade
With that the best way to discribe how the Braves got Maddox was a
One of the greatest songs ever, from 1984
