3B-Randy Jackson -.285/.344/.737 with six homers and 6 steals. Current salary is 985K, free agent to be, not sure what he wants to re-sign. Says he's in his peak, blah blah blah. You can certainly do worse at the hot corner and his ratings are all pretty solid. He's been inconsistent for us before this year and I don't anticipate re-signing him.
1B-Dick Kryhoski -.270/.327/.762 with 5 homers in 150 AB's. Hit 20 homers last year for Browns in first look as a starter as a 29 year old. Now 30, continuing to hit. Solid left handed bat, I may make him an offer to keep 1B warm until Cash is ready, but Cash is really close and may be ready to start next year in my lineup. 800K, not sure what he wants to re-sign either. Same story as Jackson.
2B/3B-Bill Serena- .220/.318/.680 with seven homers. Coming off a career year where he had a .810 OPS and 20 HR's, really struggled out of the gate, picking it up lately, hits lefties better than righties, but still can provide good power from a MI, also plays great D at 3B. 1.26 on a contract that expires after the 1956 season.
CL-Johnny Klippstein- 27 year old closer who has gotten better each of the last three seasons signed to a very affordable 1.75 contract through 1958. I'm deep with good pen righties and both Elston and Brosnan are capable of stepping in to the closer role. Not dead set on moving him but if I got a solid offer would certainly consider it.
OF-Bob Hazle- 24 year old rookie who is hitting .294 in his first season, rates G across the board, should be a stud for years to come. Only reason I would consider moving him is I have a lot of OF depth in my minors and there are some good OF's coming up in the next few drafts. Would want a pretty solid package.
Any of my starting pitchers can be had cheaply. I would look at moving one of Regalado, Gardner or Morgan as well.
PM me with any interest.
