Well my goodness, the braves really launched into June on FIRE. they were smokin hot going 11-3 and playing their best when they needed to, against the top teams in the NL. the swept the Astros, and took two of three from the dodgers, including back to back 3-2 wins in extra innings.
The Hard knock loss was the 0-1 loss to the cubs. Fulgham only gave up 4 hits, 0 BB and still took the loss to fall to 5-5 on the season.
the gem of the week happened the day before, when Montefusco outdueled Hammaker in a complete game masterpiece for a 1-0 win for the Braves.
it seems I was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before.... when this video came out MTV played it every hr on the hr, hated it at first, but after the 20th time hearing it that day (had a 13" B/W TV in my bedroom) loved the song and basically had the intro memorized
