Well thee most dominating pitching staff in the majors sent 3 studs. Don Robinson was selected to his first ever, but I'm sure he will be there routinely. At the Break he was 12-2 with a 2.11 ERA. The guy the Braves brought in for a 2nd at the beginning of the season, "the Count" also made the cut to be selected. he's 8-2 on the season, but with a blistering 1.76 ERA. The laid back pitcher is just having fun this season, and making opposing teams look silly trying to generate any offense against him. This is his first ever All Star selection. And then there is Mr Clutch as he is known in Atlanta, Doug Corbett. Doug headed to the game with a league leading 27 saves and a 1.36 ERA. True to his form, since entering the league in 78, he has been to every all star game in an odd year. Hard to believe in 77 he was on the Braves trading block, thank goodness no one took him, as who knows where the Braves would be without him.
