Well the start of the 2nd half of the season went to 10 straight wins before reality kicked the Braves in the nuts as they went 4-3 for the week, and 1-3 over the last 4 games.
There really wasn't a hard luck loss for the week, as the games they lost, it wasn't in disapointing fashjon, they just lost.
The Gem of the week was against Montreal. A thrilling pitching dual between Eck and Maher. Montreal struck first for a run in the first, but then that was it, Maher was on point, and they never threatened agian in his 8 innings. Ech got into trouble in the 8th and that was when Atlanta took advantage of him and the reliever for 1 run to tie it up, and that is the way it stayed till the Braves broke it open in the top of the 13th with 3 runs, giving them a 4-1 victory.
One of the funniest things is whenever Richards gets on at first you see him start singing the song "Run to you" as he stares at 2B. He started the year on the DL, and yet he still has risen up to the top of the team in SBs.
