Friday 8/19/1985: Milwaukee's Joe Charboneau has great day, hits three longballs
TORONTO - Milwaukee beat Toronto 17-2, but that was not the real story of the game. Joe Charboneau was, as he went deep three times. His 1st shot, off Steve Eddy in the 3rd inning, was a two-run homerun and cleared the fence in center field. A 387 foot drive to left-center marked his 2nd bomb, a GRAND SLAM off Bob Reynolds in the 3rd inning. Number 3 in the 6th inning, a shot estimated at 385 feet, cleared the wall in left field. Overall he went 3 for 4, with FIVE runs scored and collecting 7 RBI.
