Well Baseball fans, the long awaited return to our beloved pastime is upon us. To kick off the 86 season, about the only new face on the team is the 19yr old wonder kid, Greg Maddux.

We start the season against the Mets, and on opening day, hopefully the tone of the season was set with a win, however the win was very costly as stud starter Matlack went down with what appears to be a serious injury.

Greg Maddux's debut was brilliant as he pitched 7 shutout innings for his first win against the Phillies.

The Braves started pretty good going 10-5 for the opening two weeks

Bad news for the Braves as the severity of Matlack's injury has come back and he could be out till June.

Now with Murph starting his second season and first full in the cleanup spot, his teammates if on base now are singing the #100 rock song of 1986 to him when he comes up to bat
