The week started up with the last game against the cubs, where Rick Mahlor filling in for Matlack was in lock down mode and the Braves won 7-1.
A three game series with the Cards was a sweep for the Braves (yer welcome Pittsburgh) bofre the week wrapped up against the Pirates where rookie phenom MaddUx pitched shutout ball into the 9th before giving way to Brustar who got the save while Corbett is nursing his shoulder.
Maddux being the latest of the young gunslingers loves the motif of being a gunslinger and really likes 1986 #95 Rock song of the year. Srsly who came up with this crap, one of the best songs EVVA
