Well Braves fans, while the NL gave up 8 runs in the 9th, up till that point it was an exciting game.
This year 5 Braves made the team
John "The Count" Montefusco
at the midway point he is 11-1 with a 1.79 era, and this is his second straight all star selection, both with the Braves.
Don "Caveman" Robinson
He is 10-2 with a 1.91 era heading into the second half. This is also his second straight all star selection.
Doug Corbett
Even though he was forced to sit out almost a month he still is tied with the league lead in saves with 20
This makes Doug a 5 time all star

With 15 HR and a .326 avg Gary reached his first ever all star game
