Well Baseball fans, the season is ramping up into high gear, and there have been a flurry of trades.
The AL looks like all the races are over for playoff spots, just where the teams will land is the question.
The only race left is in the East with NYY holding a 3 game edge on BOS, but one will make it as the WC the other will get the div title. Seattle is looking like they want to say last year was no fluke and have quietly put on a 7 game win streak to get to the 2nd best record behind the Yankees.
Over in the NL the fight seems to be the West where LA is a scant two games back from Houston, and LA and the Expos are tied for the WC. In the Central the previous 4 season bottom feeders in Pit, and tied with the StL cards who had been owning the Div for 6 straight years now. Is their reign over or do they have enough gas for one more flag to be hoisted before the younger Pirates reclaim the Division?
Stay tuned baseball fans for answer to all these questions as these are the dog days of summer.
When it is all said and done, it'll just be the way it is...
