Cubs trade LF Bob Hazle to the Cards in exchange for P's Luis Arroyo, Fred Hahn (AAA) and UT-Bob Johnson (A).
We're a little backlogged with OF's and with Robertson and Altman knocking on the door and Solomko close behind, this made sense. We need major league ready arms and we got a couple. This trade may end up being a disaster, just depends on if Hahn can re-find his stuff. Don't expect much out of Arroyo, but certainly capable of covering the back end of our rotation for a year or two hopefully. We like Johnson's D and ability to play a lot of positions. He's young so we'll hope for a nice PD spike at some point.
