Well Braves fans, the race to the Playoffs continue, and the Braves through all their Jekyll and Hyde still have the best record in the NL, and look to be a lock to make the playoffs.
This past week had the Braves go 6-2 (musta had a double header
) which included 2 15 inning games.
out of 4 with Montreal, the Braves took 3, with the lone loss being the first marathon, losing 4-5.
In 4 of the 8 the Braves gave up 1 or less runs and in only 2 of the games did they give up more than 2. When the pitchers show up to play they dominate, and this past week, for the most part the offence was pretty good.
As it stands, the 3 teams that would make the playoffs right now in the NL if the season was over, the Braves have a .500 record overall against, which doesn't bode well for another deep run into October.
Hopefully the Braves don't throw it all away, and roll over from the best in the NL if they make the playoffs
