Silly for TOR. Taking a fpr hit for this deal and gonna make it rough to reserve another good player.

Yea, I missed that. That's 87 points off the total, and since he was at 83, technically he shouldn't have gotten Alomar (had 4 too few points), but trading up 4 spots would have been fine.
It is what it is.
I'll update log.

Given that TOR should have moved up 4 spots to be able to reserve Alomar in 1985, I am going to reward the following points:
CHA, TEX, BAL, PIT, CIN, CHA, MON, OAK, SDG, KCR, CHN, CAL (teams who picked in front of TOR and who didn't reserve a player themselves) all get 10 points each.

I apparently missed Sosa from last year too. Cubs shouldn't have been able to reserve him outright, but again --- nothing stopping trades from being made. I'll have to think about how to address this one. Could be 25 points for teams 1 through 8 (teams who picked in front of CHN) or add FPR points to everyone.
Open to suggestions.
This was a big miss on my part. Probably should have had a FPR mod, sigh.

Well, this is a shame...those 10 points would have got my Saberhagen back in 1983... *sigh*

No, the reward points are tied to the original team. If you trade for it, the original team gets the points. If you trade it away, you retain the points. The points are intended to help rebuilding teams, which translates to better parity. If you trade it away, probably not ideal since you're losing lol.

Was there a conclusion on what we were doing for the Sosa situation?

Alrighty, so the freebie FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY WEEKEND NEXT WEEK AND FOR NO OTHER REASON...
Free Primary Increase. If you choose to go to Brilliant, it will cost 25 points and cannot be applied to the Hits rating.
Everyone can participate except for the Twins and Cubs.
