Currently we are limited to only the draft picks for the upcoming draft to be traded.
Floated the idea of allowing another year to be negotiated with Chris, and his reply was
So if you want to be able to do trades for a following years worth of picks, vote Yes

Cant vote on tapatalk.
But i think im ok with it. Sometimes with less patient GMs it becomes a problem. I dont see ut being an issue here because the GM core is relatively responsible and pretty stable.

Nope.... Trading years ahead hurts trans futures...I've seen many times where a gm goes all out trades all his picks away then quits the league...leaving the new gm with no picks for the next two drafts in this case

voted no;could change if we were allowed only as current draft has started to allow the following seasons picks to be traded.

Also maybe there needs to be a rule, you have to have been in the league for at least 3 sim seasons before you can...

I love it how it is. Keeps balance better than the alternative.

Looks like there's wavering support, so we should have another poll with the following questions:
- No, keep it the way it is, only current draft and when the current draft ends, you can start trading next season's draft. - Yes, but limited to current and next season's draft during off-season and during the current draft. Once current draft ends, it's just the next draft like it is today. - Yes, but with no limit with current and next season's draft. Once current draft ends, you can trade for next draft and the following season's draft. - Don't care

I think picks from current draft should be eligible for trade to next draft and that's it

Once the draft starts the next year's picks are tradeable. I thought it was not till the draft was over Pretty sure that’s the case

Brian, whenever you have a chance, let's do a new poll with the options I mentioned above. There might be a compromise in between, but want to see the results.
