Well Braves fans, here we are at the half way mark, with the worst team since 78 record wise. Same guys playing as the 116 win season, but on pace for a mere 92 wins, which will not be enough for playoff dreams.
There is hop though, that if the spark they showed to close out June can be continued, then maybe there will be hope to once again make a run at the promised land, and the holy October classic.
Over the last two weeks the Braves were 8-4 and all but one game was against an above .500 team.
Over the last few weeks, Gary Roenicke has been on a tear and has shot past Mark Brouhard for the team lead in HR and now has 21 on the season.
After being called out as a dud Horner has smacked an additional 5 round trippers to have 11 on the season, leaving the power potential dud and not a stud, Murph with just 8 at the halfway mark.
and the #69 rock song of 87... well, anyone over the age of 10 in 87 could name it just off the bass cords....
