Are we going to use coaches and scouts in this league (hope not)? I looked back to see if you had mentioned this already, but couldn't really tell.

Nope, league settings show no coaches/scouts.

Just so you guys have an idea of what I am doing: I am looking at the HOFFBL's league settings, displaying all players and sorting them by Hits actual rating. From here, I am going player by player (through the "6" rating) and able sift out all the players who don't belong in the top echelon of players and correct / boost ratings of those who belong at the top. For example, I got to Bob Cerv (Yankees) and looked him up and saw he had no business of having anything close to a 6/7. But players like Musial, incredibly, had to be boosted further. The stars should behave like stars.

My goal is to have only the deserving players have 6 or better ratings in all of the major categories. So far, I've done 9's and 8's in AVG. I hope to have 7's and 6's done by tonight or tomorrow night and then I will move onto 2B/3B.

Ted Williams is probably immediately up for sale. Gotta sell while I can with this team, lot of young talent that I can resign in the future with some hopeful prospects after trading.
