Milwaukee's first baseman Keith Hernandez had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the American League Player of the Week. Keith was on fire, hitting .560 with 4 HR and 13 RBI. Keith managed to drive in at least one run in every game he played this week. Hernandez has walked 56 times this year and posts a .373 OBP. While batting .312, 165 for 529, he has driven in 98 runs. San Francisco's rightfielder Pete M. O'Brien had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the National League Player of the Week. He hit .500 with 11 RBI and slugged 1.045 in 22 at bats. Pete M. is hitting .316 this year, with 166 hits in 525 at bats. He has driven in 92 runs, slugging .564. He's 1st in the National League in batting, 6th in homeruns and 8th in RBI!
