Well Braves fans, the Braves remain RED HOT, embracing the colloquial expression of Hot Lanta, cause... they are. The went 6-0 over the last week, sweeping both the Mets and Cards to really pull away in the East, and for the first time this season, they have the best record in the NL
For the month of August the Braves went 20-7 and were as hot as it was outside. After getting off to a very mediocre season, the fans are hoping this team that keeps winning is the team that will be in the playoffs.
Fulgham picked up his 21st and 22nd win, pitching 17 innings and only giving up 2 runs, lowering his ERA on the season to 1.88.
Can this team make a deep run into the post season, or are they just one slip away from going home early.
