Holy cow Braves fans a second week of being 6-1, and how they did it, gives hope that the team is starting to click.
over the 7 games they only gave up 6 runs and had 3 shutouts and only gave up more than 1 run in 1 game. The old timer John Matlack has been tutoring the entire staff and the sky doesn't even seem to come close to the limit for the youngster Greg Maddux who has been named player of the game in 7 of his 11 starts.
The 7 games included 2-1 vs the Reds on the road, a 3 game sweep of the Cards on the road and a win against the Expos at home.
Currently the AL East has 3 teams within 3, KC and the Brewers look to be entangled all season long, and the NL West still isn't showing of any team taking control of the division.
