Well Braves fans, this past week was slightly better with the Braves going 4-3, though the Mets went 5-2 to cut the lead to just 2 games.
While we thought it was the Expos that were goping to surge after the Rodgers trade it has been the Mets, and now the Expos are 9 back.
Pittsburgh has started to pull away in the Central and now has 8 game lead, and in the West SF is starting to play as all preseason prognosticators thought having gone a 9-1 tear over the last 10.
The AL East currently is where the race is with 3 teams separated by 2 games and all at or above .600 (rounded up

Seattle looks to be trying to wrap up the west early and KC is looking to repeat in the Central.
The youngsters in the NL are really the talk of the town when it comes to pitching, Petry for Pit and Maddux for the Braves bith have 7 or more wins, sub 1.40 ERA and are the top 2 in K's
