Well Braves fans, the Braves came out of the break looking like they had had a couple weeks off, and not just 4.
Greg Maddux came out just making the Phillies look like they were minor leaguers with his 5th CG Shutout of the season, which was one of his 2 wins on the week.
For the week the Braves were 5-2, but the star of the team so far this season is Maddux as he is 1st in wins, 3rd in ERA and 3rd in SO for the NL on the season. Sadly, the implication is, they were just 3-2 without him.
In what may be a league record this far into the season, there are 16 teams above 500
the #50 rock song of 88....
Think I mentioned before saw these guys open for the Monsters of Rock show in 88... was amazing... as was the band. Their first album was awesome, many a hit and many a good song that didn't get radio airplay. Never heard what their downfall was.
