Well Braves fans the Braves continue to be the hottest team in the NL, but the hottest team in all of baseball is the KC Royals.
Their manager / GM has them playing better than anyone else and has 16 wins on the month with only 4 losses, and the team is only 1 of 2 teams with 3 - 10+ game winners at this point of the season.
The Braves currently only have 2 with 10 or more wins, however 2 others have 9 wins including Mr Phenomenal Doug Corbett, who might just reach his 3rd ever double digit win season, which for all the allocades he has as the Braves long time closer, one of the stats that hardly ever is noticed is has 62 wins to go with his 460 saves. Only a handful of relievers have accrued more, and it's doubtful he'll dislodge Aker's 92 win career, but he does intend to take the Save record from him.
John Smoltz continues to struggle with control in his second season, and has an era WAY above the team average of 2.64, but does show signs of potential greatness from time to time.
His young gun brother is just setting the world on fire, already with 16 wins, and 3rd in K's, Maddux is looking like a perennial Cy Young contender only in his 3rd year.
the #44 rock song from 88... Cant remember if the only time I saw them live was Monsters of Rock.... think we caught them another time, but not sure...
