This week the Braves did a tad better going 5-2 which was needed thanks to last weeks surge by the Mets.
This week the pitchers took over knowing the offense continues to be offensive and pitched 4 shutouts including two 1-0 shutouts.
The Mets also went 5-2 keeping the pressure on the Braves to once again claim the NL East, something they haven't done since the season before new management came to town here in Atlanta.
SF continued to be the hottest team in the NL also going 5-2 for the week.
