Well Baseball fans here we are, just shy of the mid season classic 6 games away from the 81 mark of half way!
So where we stand is if the playoffs started today, it'd be NYY, Balt, KC, and Tx from the AL and Atl, Mets, Pitt, and da Giants from the NL
Chi Sox and the Brewers have no quit and have the AL Central tighter than Scrooge McDuck's purse
Out in the West, Oakland decided they were not gonna roll over an play dead and are in striking distance of the AL Leading Rangers.
Over in the East, Toronto bounced back and has erased the 2 game lead, and is tied with those Damn Yankees with Baltimore also rebounding and are only a scant 3 games back.
San Fran is in firm control of the NL West, and is the only team above 500, and LA needs to do something to stop the runaway of the division.
StL has also rebounded and stopped a slide, is back well above 500 and is putting the pressure on Pitt. Pitt has the second best record in the NL and is tied for the 3rd best record in baseball and doesn't look like they want to let StL reclaim the NL Central crown any time soon.
Hot 'Lanta rebounded from a 4-3 week to a 5-1 week and now have a 9 game lead in the NL East. While the Braves may currently hold a huge lead, there is no way they continue to win at the clip they are, the NL East will be closer at by the end of the season. With Montreal having a rebound week, the East is again the only division to have every team above 500.
While I know some people think I'm not the most amazing person ever, I do hope everyone enjoys this ad, one that I think is the best XMas ad ever, and the haunting voice doing the remake is amazing
