Well HOFFBL baseball fans, the second half of the season is upon us.
As we approach the trade deadline, will we see any big names being traded?
As we shoot out of the gate, all eyes are on the AL Central as the White Sox, come out of the break and in the first week put the Royal into 2nd place for the first time this season. The AL Central remains the tightest division in baseball though as 1st to 3rd is just 2 games.
Braves fans were happy to see that they started off the second half 5-2 and continue to lead the East in the NL.
The Pirates continue to hold back the Cards in the NLs closest race, but this one feels like it is far... far... from over.
The best division in Baseball remains the AL east (forgetting about the BoSox, other than their tanking is winning for Chipper) and the Yanks are the best of the bunch. The chances of the wild card not coming from the East are slim to none.
Nothing changed in the AL West it's still Texas and Oakland in second hoping to not fade away.
It looks like the opera Singer is singing in the NL West, and San Fran is going to repeat.
Either that or it's Dandy Don singing something about lights. Sorry for those too young to have experienced his singing.
the #47 rock song of 89.....
