Well Braves fans, the start of the second half of the season hasn't been all that spectacular but hasn't been horrible either.
Now 9-5 on the second half, this past week they went 5-2 and the Mets held court and are still 10 games behind.
The major news coming out of Braves Camp is that Mr Relief himself, Doug Corbett, hit rarified air with his 500th save becoming only the 4th ever to do so. Time will tell if he can keep enough Bengay on hand to keep going to pass any of the 3 guys with more saves than him.
When it comes to saves, I don't think the league has seen anything like him. What is considered an amazing year for most, has been pedestrian for him. Basically all he keeps saying is when the game is ion the line, "I'll be there for you"
