Well baseball fans unreported sources have the Braves trying to land 3 different big names and it looks like it'll come down to who acts first, or they may just limp into the playoffs with the best record in baseball with the spotty lineup that has them with an over .700 winning record.
Since the Allstar break, the Braves have been the hottest team in the NL, however the Yankees have been the hottest overall.
As the trading frenzy started one of our reporters asked the Atl skipper about the trading plans and was told, at most the Braves would have a single trade, and that was if they were lucky, turns out the Braves have been one of the most active.
The Yankees are now on a 9 game winning streak with almost no losses in the month of July and now are owning the AL East. Toronto with the 3rd best record in all of baseball is 6 games back, even though they were 8-2 in the last 10 and are riding a 4 game winning streak.
The same thing is true in the NL east, with the second place Mets also being tied with the Blue Jays for the 3rd best record in baseball, however that are 12 games back from 1st.
The Centrals of both leagues are nearly identical in that it is win or go home but each has at least one with the chance of sending the frontrunner home.
The West are all but set with the Giants now running away in the national league, however the Rangers are starting to look like Rangers of old that blast through the door but wittle under fire after 60-100 games.
The best part of this time of the season is the playoffs will be upon us with cold weather and then stuffin the stalkins will be de jur as everyone knows in cold weather stalkings keep the legs warm and even if not sheik, still the sponsor for long johns just fashioned to attract the discriminating buyer.
Shock to no one, but Boston is set to have the worst record in the league and is on pace to have fewer wins than 40 for a record 3rd time this decade, which could possibly be an all time record.
