In the first NLDS We have the wild card Mets Visiting the NLWest champ Giants
On the season, the Mets held a slight advantage winning 8 out of 15.
Pitching is about the same on both teams, great SP good relievers and a great closer

NYM Virgil isn't a great guy behind the plate, just a so so catcher, however with a bat in his hands, he's dynomite.
SFG Parrish is almost as good with a bat as Virgil, and isn't a liability playing defense

NYM have 2 elder guys here, both solid, but neither spectacular
SFG Clark is an amazing 1B and a power hitter

NYM Another solid guy with the bat, Ray is a speedster with great range and a solid glove
SFG Hudler can go yard anytime, solid def and decent stealing ability

3B
NYM Balboni is a power hitting guy with decent range and an exceptional glove.
SFG Brett / Galaragas Brett can flat out hit and still go yard, and Galarags can go yard with the best of them. Nieter is exceptional with their glove

NYM Kittle has power, but no range at short, a liability for the starting pitchers as hitting it up the middle on the 3B side can easily get through for a base hit
SFG Uribe is a speedster with a glove giving SFG SP'ing warm and fuzzies that he is back there to rob batters

LF
NYM Rayford is all about offence, with power but running to a fly ball is an afterthought for him
SFG "Hacman" OK defense and one of the best hitters in the game with power

CF
NYM Wilson is a fast flying CF with surprisingly limited range. A threat to go yard anytime he's up, or take second for free anytime he reaches base, just about any team would want him.
SFD Greer has good def, and not a liability at the plate

RF
NYM Waller is a guy that gets on base 1/3 of the times he gets an AB. Good range and a soft glove out in right, though he's not gonna stop anyone from taging up on third and coming home.
SFG Bonds is an amazing outfielder with a canon for an arm. With a bat he has power and can hit with the best of them

This should be an amazing series, and has the recipe of going 5 games.
