Glorified street ball anymore. If anything it's less like street ball than ever with analytics, shot charts, zone defences, etc.

Glorified street ball anymore. If anything it's less like street ball than ever with analytics, shot charts, zone defences, etc. I can't tell you the last time I watched any extended period of an NBA game. It just got to the point it didn't seem like the basketball game I coach and love. Too much individual stuff, too many stars joining forces to dominate the league instead of competition...just a combination of lots of things.

It helps to be a Raptors fan, one of the few teams that actually do play team basketball and spread the scoring/defensive load around quite a bit.

NBA is probably the most entertaining and enjoyable of the top 3 sports. MLB has struggled to keep the interest of newer generations and its solutions to those problems have largely failed. This cheating scandal hasn't helped. NFL is probably still the most popular but I think Goodell is a self absorbed leader that isn't ever really transparent. And the CTE issue is continuously swept under the rug. The NBA, especially being a Dubs fan, is a beautiful thing to watch. They're an amazing group of players and teammates that desire winning. The brand of basketball they play is what everyone says basketball should be. I don't get that hate fellas.

College basketball is way more watchable than the NBA.

College basketball is way more watchable than the NBA. I could never get into college or amateur sports for the same reason I’m here...cause trades/transactions are so much more interesting.
