Dateline 5/10 but the printing press was broken, so a day late and a dollar short.
The current hottest team in baseball is the White Sox on a 9 game tear and looking for more. This winning streak has them sitting atop all of baseball with 25 wins.
Over in the NL, there are at least 3 guys with 6 wins, and two are on the Braves, Smoltz and Maddux.
St Louis used a hot week to finally overtake the struggling Pirates that are 3-7 over their last 10 games, however the GM in Pittsburg seems to have heard the owners plea not to be forced into bankruptcy and has been wheeling and dealing like there is no tomorrow.
Toronto continues to pour it on in the East, and is starting to not look over their shoulder.
The #81 rock song of 1990... was a little pub down the lauderdale area... where the guys from my History class at BCC would hang out and every time it came on they would start swinging the hanging lights to the beat... fun times
