Coming off a disappointing 1990 campaign that resulted in another 2nd place finish for the 5th straight season. The Dodgers brass decided to shake things up with a new General Manger. He quickly fired the manager and brought in his own guy Jay Mich. After a couple failed trade attempts, the LA brass has decided to stick with essentially the same roster. Calling up a couple kids from AAA and a veteran from AAA , Pedro Guerrero, that is going to get probably his last opportunity in a utility role with the big league team. Six straight bridesmaid finishes leave little confidence in the fan base, but rumors are swirling that the lineups and roles on the pitching staff have all been shaken up. Lots of question still to answer. Can new manger Jay Mich get more out of the same roster? Will the bullpen shakeup and the new 4 man rotation backfire in his face? Will be Dodgers continue to purge money or will there be a miracle turnaround by long time journeyman manager Jay Mich in his HOFFBL debut? Check back for updates as this pivotal season continues.
