Braves fans what a month of showers we've had. The team is 20-9, and rolling through the Eat as was projected when the season started.
John Smoltz won the NL pitcher of the month, he went 4-0 in and finished the month with an ERA of 0.70. His ability to make batters look silly also included 24 strike outs in 38.1 innings.

The offensive swagar of last season has decided to vanish without a trace and after being a top 8 team in hitting for avg, they are back in familiar territory #17 with a .244 avg.
The pitching staff is the normal pitching staff the fans have come spoiled by and is just lights out when the starters take the mound. With the Caveman having the worst era of the 5 starters at 2.04, with spot starter Gardner 2nd worst with a 1.88 ERA
