From time to time, I will make adjustments to the Reward Points at my sole discretion (in other words, it is not up for debate). The following changes will become effective immediately:
* FPR Compensation; I have simplified and expanded the compensation system: The team with first overall pick will be rewarded 40 points with each team thereafter rewarded 5 less points than the previous team (i.e., 35 to #2, 30 to #3 ...). The points will ratchet down up to the team that is rewarded 10 points and every team thereafter will also rewarded 10 points up to, but not including, the reserving team. For each additional reserved player, 5 points will be added to each team leading up to, but not including, the reserving team.

The points will be tied to the team at the original draft pick position and does not go with the team if such draft pick is traded.

if i trade pick #5 after the reservation has already been made and pushed it to #6, then i'm trading my pick at lowered value and of course i get my reward points
but if i traded the pick to spencer before that reservation is made, the value of my pick has not dropped yet, so i am getting full trade value for it. so spencer is the one who deserves the reward point compensation for getting dropped. right?

The intent of the compensation is to bring up the teams who are finishing last to help level the playing field. Yes, traded draft picks have (ever so slightly) less value because of FPR, but I would try to separate the "value" of the draft pick and the compensation points tied to it.
In other words, I don't really have an answer for you lol.

I meant to bring this up during the off season, but would there be a way to add changing some of the character traits (loyalty, injury, consistency) to the Secondary Talent section that can be increased with Reward Camps?

I would agree with the addition to these as well except Loyalty.... I know they are using their own points but I dont agree with someone making a player more loyal just to resign them easier.

I asked once before about that and Chris didn't seem too keen on the idea of being able to change those...but that was also a few seasons ago and his mind could have changed.

I don't think many people would use them. It just bugs me seeing the "Inconsistent" there some times. Even at 10 points a pop, I doubt they'd be used much. And we could ceiling them at normal, and only allow the increase from inconsistent to normal.

Never had points to increase those abilities, which are more like traits, which is why I wouldn't like to change them ever.
