Things got bad! Things got bad in a hurry! The bats took a step back in the month of June and the good ship Brewer began taking on water. The club started the month 31-24 and right in the midst of the AL wildcard race but a 7-19 June put a likely insurmountable dent in those plans. The acquisition of David Cone and Andres Galarraga were meant to boost the roster for the stretch run but now fans will spend the month of July wondering which favourites will be dealt before the trade deadline.
