Braves fans gather round as we discuss how the team has fared since the end of May.
Since 6/1 the Braves have been 13-6 a respectable .684. could this be the start of the Braves starting to try and make a run for once again dominance in the NL?
Over their last 3 games a piece, Smoltz and Maddux are 5-0 with a sub 1 era, each with 23.0 IP's
The injury bug has been striking Atlanta something fierce this season, something that they had largely been immune too over the last decade, other than losing Murphy for a season.
Javier and Cruz that came in 2 and 3 last season for the batting title have been pedestrian, with neither hitting above .250
All eyes are on management as several prominent players have contract to negotiate, with Murphy and Maddux needing to ink new deals. Preliminary numbers from Murphy's camp seen way out of line considering his production the last 7 years has been highly ineffective.
GM Reddington has been very tight lipped of late and has uttered nary a comment as to what is going on in Atlanta.
